3. Drawing with Drapery- Anthony Lombardo


              
              This drawing absolutely represents the concept of drapery.  In this drawing the artist shows every fold in the fabric and how the light hits each crease differently.  You can also see that the fabric is in fact draped over something at the top where it appears as the though fabric is folding over the back of some object.  I like the use of true black and white in this drawing as opposed to strictly shading and never making it all the way to true black or leaving the lightest tone the paper color. I think the black helps to add dimension to the piece and works well with the colored paper while the white helps show the light and brighten up the piece.
